love it at levitz
so jill and i are seriously wondering if this just happened... whatever it was, i was only along for the ride...
i'll start at the beginning... jill wants a couch. val has a couch she got at levitz. now this is one comfy microfiber couch that we all love so val calls levitz to find out if it comes in the color blue that jill wants in her living room... bottom line = no. but while val's on the phone she thinks the guy has a sexy voice and wants to meet him hoping to get a date and a good deal on a couch. so we all make plans to go to levitz in pa. the preparations evern include vf calling to see when this guty is working... we go last sunday. he had called in sick.
now jb and i are boating and loving trying out all the couches and such... so we run into the same saleswoman that sold vf her couch. she's with another customer for a while and keeps running (literally running) past us going, "i'll be with you guys in one sec." fine. whatever. jb and i are passed the fuckl out on the couch and finallyt she comes over... we all start talking... no, i take that back.. andreeeea (mispronouncing the name... the horror!) starts telling us her life story about her divorce and all and the custodyu battle... we all seriously shoulda taken this as an extreme warning... but no.
so vf asks about the guy salesman she wanted to meet and this woman, we'll call her levitz, describes his drug binge habit... not too attractive to the three of us. but then she says that she totally has a guy to fix vf up with. he even has a female roommate that vf can fix her male roommmate up with. perfect, right?! so we agree to go out on friday night (ie-tonight) and meet this kid and be moral support for val & kev.
that's the background.
so i make everyone over an hour late (oops...) and we finally get there. order some drinks and some food and start chattin. does anyone remember an old mtv vj simon rex? so this guy looked just like him but must've had the world's smallest penis because he was sooooo overcompensating for ssomething.
he and kev get into this macho who knows more about stupid movie/tv show trivia challenge that no one else can take part in... because we all have lives. so the kid we went to meet (matt... charles... something like that...) ends up arguing with everyone he talks to. and this is the kind of diluted arguing that he'll even argue that he's not arguing...
now there's levitz woman (andréa), her trashy friend, the cocky matt/charles kid, his roommate the flight attendant, jb, vf, kev, and me all sitting at a fridays in pa. (ps-how'd we end up in pa?) we're all wasted and suddenly, levitz leaves... no one noticed her leaving... she just paid her tab at the bar and peaced out... no good-bye, no nothin... and she was the one who set everything up and then flirted with the overcompensating ferruis beuler trivia freak the whole night...
all in all, i'm glad i was there, because i would not have believed these stories...
i know i left a lot of shit out but i've been drinkin since 8 and it's 2:30something..... this is pass the fuck out time in my world.
