g-rated post ivy events

this morning in a futile effort to regain some sense of sobriety before passing out at an ungodly late/early hour for a “school night” i did what any redblooded girl would do— drunk cook!
drunk cooking (or drubk cookin, if you happen to be blond) is the fine art of harnessing any motor skills you may have left at the end of a reasonably long night of liquid consumption and making (burning) some form of comfort food when all the local pizza joints have long since closed. it’s usually characterized by smoke detectors going off, ridiculasly bad tasting ramen, or excessive leftover consumption.
last night’s episode in drunk cooking actually proved quite tasty although i haven’t had the experience of savoring it while sober… low-fat mac and cheese. yes kids i did say low fat. and then i added butter. a big whopping pat of butter. and i boiled the pasta in tomato bullion (found in the wegman’s ethnic foods aisle, i highly recommend it). i’m quite a gourmet even while plastered. yeay me.

Hooray for drunken karaoke nights at the Ivy, mac'n cheese and dorks who have their own blogs!

Perhaps this is just a function of me being out of the loop in your life for about the last 4 years (i.e., the whole time you were at Penn State) and knowing nothing about Princeton even though we're from a town that's 45 minutes away ... what's the Ivy? I assume it's a bar ...
